Arize is an iPhone app designed to provide advanced instagram analytics and graphs as well as post editing and scheduling capabilities. This was the first big project I did and took over a year and countless hours to finish. I learned the most programming concepts during this project and although we greatly underestimated the complexity of the project it was a great project.
I knew small businesses had trouble posting to social media consistently without tools to do so. I also realized that instagram did not offer post scheduling at the time and the creator analytics were hard to find and interpret at times. I envisioned a product that would allow for post editing an scheduling with advanced analytics and other features not offered by many products such as influencer discovery and hashtag recommendations all in one application. Coding the app alongside my friend, to say we underestimated the complexity of this project is an understatement. Starting with very limited experience in iOS apps and even basic software principles in general we had to learn everything as we went.
